THE GLIMPSE OF HIMALAYA
DURATION- 4 nights/ 5 days
Cost: 1 person US $ 880, US $1680 for 2 people, + 3 people US $ 720 each.
Cost includes: Government royalty, all meals, tea and snacks, accommodations, transport, entrance fees, guide service, mineral water while travelling on the road.
Cost does not include: Druk Air fares, visa fee, airport tax, drinks and other personal bills.

Day 1: Arrival Paro, visit Paro Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang (it is one of the 108 temples built by King Songtsen Gampo in 659 A.D), and Paro town. O/n Paro at an altitude of 2280m

Day 2: Morning visit National Museum and then drive to Thimphu (capital). In the evening visit Nunnery, Changgngkha Lhakhang, Sangay hill for the best view of Thimphu town and Mini Zoo. In the evening gift shopping. O/n Thimphu at an altitude of 2320m

Day 3: Morning visit National Institute of Traditional Medicine, School of Arts, National Library, Bhutanese Paper factory, afternoon drive to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong where the secret relic ‘Rangjung Kharsapani’, that Zhanbdrung brought with him from his monastery at Ralung in Tibet. Legion says that a statue of ‘Rangjung Kharsapani’ (Avalokiteshvara) appeared miraculously from the vertebra of Tsangpa Gyre, the founder of Drukpa Kagyu lineage of Mahayana Buddhism. O/n Punakha (old capital) is located at 1250m

Day 4: Morning visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and on the way back to Thimphu en-route stop to visit Chimey Lhakhang the fertility temple of Lama Drukpa Kuenley, the Divine Madman (optional). O/n Thimphu at an altitude of 2320m

Day 5: Early transfer to Airport for departure
